  1. Alejandro Leopardi

    Dear Director of Development:

My name is Alejandro Leopardi and I’ve written a suspense/thriller called “Blind Suspicion” that I’d like to send your way. I’ve recently completed a spec script for 14 Films of Toronto, and have also sold another feature-length script, both to be produced this year. Additionally, another script of mine won Best Narrative at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival.

Logline: A deteriorating relationship may be at fault for a string of disappearances.

“Blind Suspicion” is written in the vein of films such as “Obsessed” and “Fear.” The story is about a couple, Brandon and Sienna, that experiences strange events which stem from their quickly deteriorating relationship. Brandon’s recent unemployment and bouts of anger begins to push Sienna away. As the couple grows further apart, people close to them begin disappearing. The strange events increase in frequency when Sienna asks Brandon to move out. At first, all fingers point to Brandon, the likeliest of suspects. That is, until Brandon also vanishes and the list of suspects grows longer. With Brandon gone, Sienna is forced to fend for herself against an unknown enemy. She’s stalked by a hooded stranger, more people go missing, and the bizarre events threaten her life and the life of those around her. The culprit behind it all must be discovered before Sienna becomes one of the disappeared.

I believe the story- and character-driven plot, riveting suspense, and strong female lead of “Blind Suspicion” will appeal to a very wide audience. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please let me know if you would like to read the full screenplay and I’ll get you a copy immediately.

Please forgive our late response to your inquiry. We have been slammed with spam.

Unfortunately, we are not interested in this story at this time.

Please feel free to send us other ideas.

    Best wishes,
